Conversion is possible if your file comes from one of the following versions:
- Heredis X.3
- Heredis 1.0.3.
- Heredis 2.2
Note: If your file comes from a version earlier than Heredis X.3, we regret to inform you that we are no longer able to perform this type of conversion.
You will need to go through two intermediate versions of Heredis.
Don't worry, this does not mean that you have to buy another version of Heredis. You can install an older demo version of Heredis to convert files.
There are three key versions of the Heredis file format:
-Heredis 2014, Heredis 2018, and Heredis 2021.
-
Download InstallHeredis2014.dmg and install it:
As this is a demo version, the file name will be preceded by “Demo.”
Open the file in Heredis 2014. As this is a demo version, the converted file name will be preceded by the term “Demo.”
-
Next, download InstallHeredis2018.dmg and install it:
Open the file prefixed with "Demo".... in Heredis 2018.
-
Then, download InstallHeredis2021.dmg, and install it:
- Open the file with the prefix “Demo-Demo..... ” in Heredis 2021. The file will then be converted to this version and will be prefixed with “Demo-Demo-Demo..... ”
- It is this last file that you will need to convert to your latest version of Heredis.
-
Finally, you can then rename this file as you wish by following the procedure described here:
