Several functions of the Heredis software require access to the Internet.
You need to make sure that your antivirus software allows the Heredis software to access the internet.
You must also make sure that your connection speed is sufficient to use these functions, especially the "Share on local network" function.
We detail here a procedure that will allow you to check the status of your internet speed.
Step 1 : Download the executor
We invite you to download the following file : lcl_sharing_archive.zip
To unzip the downloaded file, right click on it and select "Extract all" :
Step 2 : Run the command file
Open the folder "lcl_sharing_directory" and double click on the file "check_local_sharing.cmd" :
The command execution window opens :
Do not pay attention to the texts that appear and disappear.
Step 3: Understanding the result
You will then have three possible results.
- If you see the green text below :
Your internet connection is sufficient. If the prerequisites for sharing on the local network are met and you still cannot share your file, we invite you to create a ticket on this page : Click here
Keep the generated zip file, it will be requested by the technical service.
Indicate that you have a problem with the sharing on the local network and that you have already done the internet connection test.
If you already have a ticket in progress, answer it.
- If you see text in red below :
Your computer is not connected to the Internet. You have to connect and then restart the sharing on the local network. In case of failure, repeat the procedure described above.
- If you see yellow text below :
The speed of your internet connection is too low to allow sharing on the local network, which requires a stable connection.
