The Windows error code 0xc000012d is usually caused by a resource problem on your computer's part. However, it may also be due to a software installation problem.
First, we suggest you uninstall the software and then reinstall it.
If you don't know how to proceed, you'll find the necessary instructions in these two articles:
If the problem persists after uninstallation and reinstallation, this means that your computer does not have enough resources to perform all the actions you ask of it.
It is the operating system (Windows) that distributes the resources to the computer's components.
There may be two causes for this lack of resources :
- If too many actions are requested at the same time, the operating system will distribute the resources to all applications. This means that each action will have few resources to run. Sometimes, it will be really too little to run the software or the application. In this case, it is necessary to check that all the actions running on the computer are really necessary. And beware: some tasks run in the background without your knowledge. You need to check the task manager to see what is really running on your computer.
You can view all the tasks running on your computer in the Windows Task Manager.
Here you will find an article on how to access it and how to close unnecessary tasks : Open the Task Manager on Windows
- If the software you are using is installed on a computer that is too old or on an incompatible operating system, it may require more resources than the computer has to offer. It is therefore imperative that you check the compatibility of the software and applications you are using, as well as ensuring that your operating system is up to date.
Please note that you have to check the compatibility of all active software on your computer, not only Heredis. Indeed, Heredis will run at the same time as a lot of other applications (some of them are even active without your knowledge). If another application requires too much resources, it will have an impact on the Heredis software which is running at the same time and has to share the resources.
